Food, service and atmosphere were great. For Dallas this was pretty good for Louisiana style cuisine. Coming from the golden triangle area minutes from Louisiana I’m use to the real deal but this hit the spot for needing a hometown quick fix. The gumbo was excellent and fried oysters delicious. I gave it 4 stars only because I know the real stuff. I would feel ok recommending S&D to friends and family. Casual dining atmosphere with a New Orleans style vibe. The coleslaw is phenomenal.

Great seafood place in the middle of downtown Dallas. Great service and atmosphere. Food was perfect, small menu, but the items they have are done very well.
